All Hallows Eve!

Halloween has come and gone. We had a blast! We were lucky enough to finally get a day where all 4 of us could spend the day together. With the recent fires and Anthony working Mega Overtime at the Fire Station, we haven't had much family lately, but thankfully he had Halloween off and we made the very best of our time together. We started the day off with Aidan's Costume Parade. His costume of choice was a RED Crayola Crayon. While Aidan participated in all the Festivities, Logan trotted around the school grounds proudly wearing his Yoda costume. After all the hard work we put into Aidan's Crayola costume, we were expended of all our creativity and had to surrender to a store bought costume. Yoda was a nice choice since Logan was battling a cold and the cloak and headpiece were made of a nice fleece material. "Below here is he". As Yoda would say.

Aidan began his parade soon after we arrived. Here he is prominently displaying our work of art.

He had some pretty good competition, but thanks to our hard work and the creative geniuses that Anthony and I are, my baby won the prize for the "Cutest Costume". It's probably the last year he'll allow me to make his costume cute so I'll be able to bask in the glory of his little trophy from Kindergarten, for years to come. Here he is proudly accepting his award.

Later in the day Aidan's Harvest Carnival commenced. I failed to get any shots other than on my cell phone. Anthony worked the fishing booth while Aidan and I spent his hard earned money on the many booths. We made a killing with prizes. We were all ready to call it a day at around 2:30 but we had to continue on with the festivities of the day. Halloween isn't Halloween without trickortreating after all.

Family picture Op. just before we headed out.

Ninja Turtle Jason and Aidan the Red Crayola just before we ventured out.
Right above are Aidan and Jason at an awesome Haunted House in Alhambra. This guy went all out with his Halloween decor.
Brian being a well behaved Tigger while our little Yoda screamed bloody murder. The culprit? "Unfamiliar surroundings".

Family picture op. sans the costume headpieces. I'll admit, they stayed on longer than I thought they would. To end the night, we went to have ourselves a nice Mexican dinner. Aidan was so tired he fell asleep sitting down at the table. We all slept like logs that night. All in all, it was the best Halloween to date. But we'll certainly try to beat that next year.
